Software Engineer, Mid / Enterprise Tools Support (Multiple Openings)

Location: Springfield, VA
Education and Experience Required:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and at least three (3) years of experience. Four (4) years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.

Clearance Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and CI Polygraph granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency

A Federal Services information technology (IT) customer requires support of the enterprise IT environment. Under this contract, Assured Consulting provides direct assistance to the customer in IT services ranging from process engineering to systems administration with a core focus on customer engagement and satisfaction resulting in expedited throughput and deployment of mission based assets and services. 

Assured Consulting Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • ​Provide configuration, customization, access control, and maintenance support for all NGA enterprise EM tools
  • Track all software license and maintenance agreement status for all NGA EM/CSS enterprise tools in coordination with NGA’s Software Asset Management (SAM) office
  • Develop, update, and deliver a consolidated EM and Cyber Tools listing
  • Develop, update, and deliver an ITSM tool Data Dictionary
  • Leads the requirements analysis, design, modification, development, and implementation of software programming applications
  • Reviews and approves test cases, processes, and impact assessments
  • Develops, reviews, and approves software documentation. Provides technical insight and advice to customers and senior leadership
Job Requirements:
  • Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, documenting, and implementing software programming applications/operating systems
  • Expertise in a variety of software concepts, practices, and procedures with more advanced experience and skills in specialized software products
  • Has knowledge of applicable business lines/industries and understands the relationship between technical and business needs
