Senior IT Consultant / Enterprise Architect

Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior IT Consultant / Enterprise Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identify strategies and methods that broaden and develop CIO and Agency culture to adopt future technologies and methodologies, championing IT initiatives throughout the Agency and developing an engaged and educated workforce willing to and capable of implementing and taking full advantage of emerging technologies and initiatives
  • Regularly co-author thought leadership initiatives, white papers and technology assessments
  • Provide an outside government perspective that will broaden the CIO outlook on future IT threats and opportunities and their effects on tomorrow's mission
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Individual must possess the senior IT consultant and advisory skills to accommodate the requirements as described above
  • Highly evolved IT analytic capabilities and understanding of the customer environment are necessary for this position, supported by a history of excellent reporting and presentation of analysis results
  • Knowledge of current and evolving IT vendor approaches and capabilities in multiple services management areas​
  • Experience in evaluating, testing, acquiring and implementing future IT technologies and concepts
  • Experience in data management, data governance, strategies and architectures
  • Understanding of Fog Computing, Inevitable Architecture, Network Modeling (OpNet), and/or Hybrid Cloud strategy
  • Individual must possess the following Enterprise Architecture skills:
    • Ability to create a holistic integrated view on the enterprise as well as the ability to model; use of DoDAF within this context
    • Ability to work at the CIO level to provide Provided​ ​architectural​ ​IC​ ​CIO​ ​conformance​ ​guidance​ ​and​ ​assessment​ ​of​ ​Joint​ ​architectural descriptions​ ​as defined within customer environment
    • Experience in supporting enterprise architecture migrations during a time of digital transformation 
    • Ability to consensus build around the model of the as-is and to-be environment
    • Ability to identify root causes in an organization where change management is necessary
    • Ability to research​ ​disruptive​ ​bleeding-edge​ ​technology​ ​for​ ​inclusion​ ​in​ ​the​ ​alternative​ ​future​ ​state​ ​forecast for​ ​senior​ ​decision​ ​maker​ ​awareness​ ​of​ ​global​ ​trends​ ​that​ ​may​ ​impact​ ​business​ ​and/or​ ​IT transformation​ ​for​ ​the​ ​enterprise
    • Ability to coordinate and organize multiple priorities and taskings to align them to a specific strategy
    • Ability to collect information from various stakeholders and synthesize all information for consumption
    • Ability to design and execute overarching change readiness plans

Degree Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least twelve (12) years of experience providing senior-level technical expertise for projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
