Senior Field Network Admininstrator

Location: Alexandria, VA
Job Location: Alexandria, VA (up to 35% travel)

Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Field Network Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide support to a wide array of customers as part of a complex team of multiple contractors and government personnel
  • Perform full lifecycle management of hardware
  • Deploy and decommission equipment as required
  • Perform site surveys to assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements
  • Analyze and develop new hardware requirements and prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions
  • Direct and lead preparation of deployment plans and site installation Technical Design Packages
  • Develop hardware installation schedules
  • Mobilize installation team
  • Direct and lead preparation of drawings documenting configuration changes at each site
  • Prepare site installation and test reports
  • Coordinate post installation operations and maintenance support
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with KG-175, Cisco routing and switching equipment, Cisco VoIP, Cisco VTC, networked printers, Windows OS, and PC hardware required
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification – Security+ CE or higher
  • MCP/CCNA
  • MCSA (Windows 10) required before start date (MS 70-640 Cfg Active Directory or; MS 70-642 Cfg Net Infra or; MS 70-646 Svr Administrator)
  • ITIL Foundations
  • Experience in LAN/WAN and Encryption Device technologies and their underlying protocols
  • Ability to follow and adhere to SDLC ISO 15288 development guidance
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53, A&A, ICD-503
  • VCP 5
  • Ability to travel up to 35% 
Education Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with five (5) to seven (7) years of related (technical environment) experience.

02-04 years of experience w/ Master's Degree
05-07 years of experience w/ Bachelor’s
11-13 years of experience w/ HS Diploma
