We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Workforce Planner, Sr. to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Identify the “Buy, Build, and Borrow” strategy that identifies talent requirements and helps mitigate skill gaps that result in mission failure.  In addition to the routine strategic work force planning efforts, the candidate must develop and implement an enterprise-wide sills inventory, which facilitates real-time identification of talent, long-term succession management, and individual career planning.  This requires IT experience to develop a sustainable solution that aligns the organization’s current personnel systems.
  • Work Force Assessment – Conduct, analyze and produce a Workforce assessment for the organization.  The assessment will provide the design for each required plan.
  • Skill Gaps Analysis – Conduct, analyze and produce a skills gap analysis of the organization
  • Competency Assessment – work the OHR and training organization to conduct, analyze and produce an organizational competency analysis.
  • Succession Design and Plan – Provide organization senior leadership a clear path to replace personnel that depart with qualified personnel; collaborating with each of the Career Field Managers.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning Performance Management Design and Plan – Provide a performance management plan based on talent management and talent analytics in a digital environment.
  • Provide a team of senior HR specialists with Senior Strategic Workforce, Change Management Planning to successfully develop, plan manage and execute a Workforce Assessment, Skills Gaps Analysis and Competency Assessment in support of the organization’s Strategic Workforce Plan.
  • Use the gathered data to develop, plan, manage and execute a Strategic Workforce Plan linked to the organization’s Strategic Plan, consisting of but not limited to succession planning, a recruiting and onboarding design based on critical skills and competencies, employee development and talent management.
  • Lead the development of the Strategic Workforce Implementation Plan to include a supporting tool and methodology that allows the organization to track execution of, measure of progress, and ensure the organization achieves outcomes for core strategic goal, objectives and initiative and milestones.
  • Assist with building and executing a Change Management and Communications Plan.
Required Qualifications:
  • Data analytics skills: In support of analyzing both quantitative HR data and skills information collected via surveys/interviews, the candidate must be familiar with working with HR data/metrics and tools/methods for analyzing & drawing insights from this data.
  • Interview, focus group and survey skills: In support of the team in designing, arranging, facilitating, and examining results from manager & employee interviews, focus groups and employee surveys.  Having an I/O psychology or social science background experience would be a plus.
  • Consulting and presentation skills: Candidate must possess proven level of professional polish who can help create impactful deliverables (written materials, briefings, data visualization), and who is comfortable presenting them to client-facing audiences.
Degree Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least twelve (10) years of experience providing senior-level technical expertise for projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
