Clearance Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

We are looking for a highly-motivated Information Security Specialist to provide engineering, design, and sustainment security support to an enterprise IT infrastructure over several disparate sites.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the Project Management Organization (PMO) in the design, testing, evaluation, maintenance, and optimization of the customer networks
  • Support all IA duties
  • Design and integrate new technologies into the communications infrastructure
  • Ensure the establishment and satisfaction of IA and security requirements based upon analysis of user, policy, regulatory and resource demands
  • Manage extensive evaluations of major information security networks
  • Prepare evaluation reports and present recommendations
  • Conduct trade-off analyses of products for clients to determine optimal informant security solutions
  • Provide consulting services on a wide variety of information assurance topics
  • Prepare remedial options and supervise correction of information security shortfalls
  • Work independently in expert role at customer site
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing IA tools for assessing and maintaining system security within the Defense Information Infrastructure
  • Skill in performing analyses to ensure threat assessments, protection, detection, and reaction functions are performed
  • Extensive experience in managing or implementing DOD information security, communications-computer systems security and industrial security policies and procedures.
  • Experience in implementing DOD network compliance validation and inspection procedures
  • Ability to analyze general information assurance related technical problems and provide basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems
  • Experience in performing vulnerability/risk analysis of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development lifecycle
  • Experience developing standardized certification and accreditation baselines
  • Knowledge of DISN connection security approval processes and compliance policies
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT 3 cert (desired CISSP, but not required)

Education Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven (7) to nine (9) years of directly related experience. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
