A Federal Customer delivers enterprise information technology (EIT) services to an extended, global environment supporting the organization’s most important collection, analysis, processing, and dissemination missions. This customer seeks to decrease complexity of service delivery, increase agility to adapt to evolving mission needs, minimize entanglements among service providers, and improve EIT reliability and availability. To deliver this goal, ACS is supporting a migration of all sites to a managed service approach, delivering effective and efficient support worldwide while maintaining centralized visibility and control. We are supporting the implementation of an integrated delivery and monitoring approach to effectively support these distributed sites.
 
We are seeking a highly motivated Mission Assurance Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure mission assurance policies are applied to all strategies, planning, investments, and operations
  • ​Work directly with the Mission Assurance Team to tailor the holistic, and site specific, mission assurance strategies and plans and prioritize investments for operational sustainment
  • Ensure preparedness of personnel, infrastructure, and processes, and the execution and recovery strategy to minimize impact to assure full mission continuity
  • Provide engineering expertise to analyze hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, and network design
  • Procure and perform acceptance testing on equipment
  • Prepare specifications for hardware by analyzing documented and derived system requirements
  • Conduct site surveys
  • Prepare engineering plans and site Technical Design Packages
  • Configure (and document configuration of) computers, networking devices, and various peripheral equipment
  • Prepare site installations and test reports
  • Ensure that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user’s requirements
 
Required Qualifications:
  • PRIVAC SYS 2
  • DoD 8570 - Security+
  • History of working within NSA policy 1-4 and/or NSA’s Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (or the equivalent MA policy/planning documents from other agencies)
  • Experience in identification of Mission Essential Contractor Services (MECS), implementation of tests, training and exercises (TT&E), identification of mission assurance triggers, and planning/creating policy to meet Recovery Time Objectives

Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with configuration management in support of ServiceNow and ongoing synchronization with a centralized CMS
Education Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
